1993
The family of the Greek native Kostas Samaras purchased soda works of the state-owned-soft-drinks producer Nealko Olomouc in Krnov and started the production of carbonated beverages under the original name SP Vrachos s. r. o. The company HOOP was established in Poland.

1996 -1999
In 1996, the subsidiary transport company SANTA - NÁPOJE KRNOV was established. This year is also considered the year in which the company Kofola officially came into being, as it is known today. The year of 1998 in the company Kofola is characteristic of its technological development and the entry into the Slovak market or of establishing the subsidiary distribution company SANTA NÁPOJE SLOVAKIA spol. s r. o. In 1999, the brand Jupí was introduced.
HOOP in Poland cooperated with the biggest producer of non-alcoholic beverages in England - Britvic International Ltd. (1997).

2000
The company first joined its production programme with the Kofola beverage, when it concluded the licensing agreement on its bottling with the Opava-based pharmaceutical company Ivax, the owner of the brand at that time.

2001
The purchase of the registered trademark Top Topic and the reintroduction of this traditional beverage containing grape juice to the Czech and Slovak markets. Another contribution to the market was also the addition of Jupík fruit drink for children to the Jupí line. In Slovakia, the company began construction of a production plant in Rajecká Lesná.

2002
The year of expansions and strategic investments – the purchase of the registered trademark and the original recipe of the traditional beverage Kofola from the company Ivax for CZK 215 million. The trade name of the company in the Czech Republic and its subsidiary in Slovakia was changed to Kofola, a.s. HOOP in Poland bought a majority share of the producer of mineral waters and beverages in Grodzisk Wielkopolski.

2003
In Poland, the subsidiary under the trade name Kofola Sp. z o.o. was established. Kofola a.s. earned certification of its system of quality according to ČSN EN ISO 9001:2000 standards. The Polish HOOP acquired 50% of shares of the company Megapack in Russia and entered the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

2004
The first innovation of the Czechoslovak traditional beverage Kofola after 40 years of its existence – the introducing of the brand Kofola Citrus. Kofola continued in its expansion with the establishment of the subsidiary Kofola Rt. in Hungary. Following the Czech Republic and Slovakia plants, construction of new production plants began in Kutno and Lodž, Poland. The entry into the segment of bottled waters with the introduction of Rajec spring water.

2005
The grand opening of a new production plan in Poland. It was the largest Czech investment in this country to date. The company expanded its product portfolio in the Czech and Slovak markets by re-introducing the beverage Chito Tonic, and it also became the exclusive producer and distributor of the beverage Capri-Sonne.

2006
In November, the holding company split off as a company with its own legal subjectivity and the name Kofola Holding, a.s. The purchase of the Czech beverage company Klimo, s.r.o. The line of 100% natural juices and Jupí fruit drinks was introduced to the market. HOOP took over the company PAOLA S.A.

2007
The introducing of the new product Rajec Bylinka – natural spring water enriched with herbal extracts from balm and thyme. In its first year of participation, the company Kofola was awarded the 8th place on the top 100 chart of the Most Admired Czech Companies. The shareholders of the companies Kofola Holding a.s. and the Polish beverage company No. 3 Hoop S.A. concluded the entry agreement on the merger of both companies.

2008
The newly established Kofola - Hoop Group won a new investor – the company Enterprise Investors with 42.45% of shares. The majority share of the company continues to be in hand of Czech owners. The company Kofola in Slovakia bought the Vinea trademark. The beverage Kofola has newly become available in a sugar-free version Kofola without sugar.

2009
The name of the company Kofola - Hoop S.A. changed to Kofola S.A. The extension of production and storing premises in Rajecká Lesná, Slovakia – investment at the amount of EUR 10 mil. In the first half of 2009, the Kofola Group showed the consolidated net profit of EUR 2,498 million.

2010

Launch of Vinea in Czech Republic and introduction of new brands and products in Kofola gastro portfolio for on-trade market – carbonated soft drinks Orangina and Citronela, ice tea Pickwick Just Tea and fruit juices and nectars Snipp. Addition of Rajec Tajemství stromů and Rajec Kyslík to the Rajec line. Innovation of Kofola drink bottle and sleeve. Kofola celebrated 50 anniversary.
