Kofola announces the Group’s results for quarters 1-3 2006: Company’s revenues exceed 2.6 billion crowns
Prague, 26.10.2006 - The domestic manufacturer of non-alcoholic beverages, Kofola Corporation, has announced a three-quarter growth in earnings of 12.3% in comparison with the same period in 2005. During the first nine months of this year, the entire Kofola Group took in altogether 2,662,653,221 crowns for the sale of products and services in Central Europe. Its most significant investment of 2006 is considered to be the takeover of the Czech company Klimo, one of the three largest producers of private label beverages.
Jupik has the best label
Prague, 16.10.2006 - The 20 th annual contest of Packaging of the Year in 2006 has a winner.
Kofola , a.s. (the customer) and
Obchodni tiskarny , a.s. (the provider and entrant in the contest) have won an award in the category “Labels, covers and other helpful packaging”
for the special double-sided label on the children's drink Jupik . The gala evening of packaging took place on 5 October in the Olympic Hotel in Prague, where altogether 60 trophies and certificates were awarded into to representatives of the winning firms and their business partners.
Kofola to expand
Prague, 12.10.2006 - Representatives of Kofola a.s., the leading Central European manufacturer of non-alcoholic beverages, signed an agreement with the owner of Klimo s.r.o. on the transfer of ownership shares. Kofola will become the only owner of this company during the course of November.
Kofola Corporation’s revenues reach almost 3 billion crowns in 2005
Prague, 24.7.2006 - The Kofola Corporation, manufacturer of non-alcoholic beverages, has finally announced the results of the whole group for 2005. Kofola realized altogether 2,844,644 thousand crowns for the sales of its products and services, and in comparison with 2004, thus posted an increase in revenues of 20%. Direct investments especially in production technologies reached 550 million crowns in 2005 and Kofola set up more new production sites in Central Europe.
Kofola has the best advertisements for children and youth
Prague, 1.6.2006 - The advertisements for the products of the Kofola Corporation, specifically, the television spot for the similarly-named beverage and the series of print ads for the children’s beverage Jupik, won the “Rainbow Marbles”, the award for best advertisement aimed at children and youth at this year’s film festival in Zlin. In both cases, the author was the agency Kaspen. Altogether, 43 works from three European countries competed. An international professional and children’s panel rated the advertisements.
Kofola has chosen Toyota
Prague, 24.5.2006 - Highways in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary, thus in the regions where Kofola is in operation, can look forward to 140 all-new Toyotas in their company colors! The Kofola Corporation, namely in a selection procedure for its automobile fleet, has just chosen the make Toyota. Almost two hundred employees of Kofola will soon be able to use Toyotas of all types – from truck versions of the Yaris model to the manager’s Avensis.
Consumers have chosen the JUPI juices as the Innovation of the Year 2006
Prague, 5.5.2006 - Consumers in the Czech Republic like Jupi juices. This was confirmed by the results of the contest “
Consumers' Choice 2006 – Best Innovation ”, in which
2000 Czech and Moravian households recently chose from among many products presented on the market those that they liked best. They chose the winner from
77 entered products in
24 categories . Among the beverages, the
juice Jupi in the Tetra Rex packaging from
Kofola won.

Prague, 3.4.2006 - The Kofola Corporation will welcome the arrival of spring with a new television spot, whose atmosphere and story with a surprise climax will please many an eye of the viewer. The spot is being broadcast from 3 April 2006 in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia and comes from workshop of the creative agency Kaspen and presents the version of this favorite drink on tap. The director Jakub Kohak filmed this spot and Milan Cajs, a member of the group Tatabojs, composed the music.
A flavor patented by nature II - Rajec with a new advertisement
Prague, 31.3.2006 - Beautiful pictures of nature, the harmonious co-existence of its inhabitants, crystal clean water and non-recurring natural sounds we can savor for ourselves from 3 April in the Nova TV spot for Rajec spring water (a product of Kofola, a.s.). It was repeatedly filmed under the creative baton of the Kaspen advertising agency, which confirmed in a separate tender in January its contribution to the creation of above-the-line communication for the Rajec brand. Jasmina Blazevic directed the new spot.
Kofola a.s. revenues in the Czech Republic for the year 2005 surpass 2 billion
Prague, 6.3.2006 - According to tentative estimates, the earnings of Kofola a.s. rose in 2005 by 13 percent in comparison with those in 2004. The domestic manufacturer of non-alcoholic beverages expects that its revenues for sales of its good and services will be 2,048 million crowns. Direct investments of the firm reached 68 million crowns last year in the Czech Republic alone and Kofola likewise built 63 new work sites. At the same time, sales of the company’s products in all categories of drinks rose in 2005.
Media for Kofola to buy Initiative
Prague, 24.2.2006 - After announcing the results of the tender for the creative agency for the Rajec and Jupi brands, Kofola has concluded the tender for the media agent for region V4.
Kofola is moving its holding company
Prague, 21.2.2006 - At the beginning of February, the holding company of Kofola a.s. moved from its original headquarters in Krnov to Ostrava. The company regards Ostrava as a strategic location within the bounds of the Central European region. Other changes will continue at the beginning of February, when part of the holding company also moves to Prague. The headquarters of the Czech branch, production, storage, the internal rolling stock and the daughter company Santa Trans will henceforth remain in Krnov.
