Enterprise Investors Acquires a 42.5% of Kofola-Hoop
Warsaw, 12.11.2008 - Polish Enterprise Fund VI (PEF VI), a private equity fund managed by Enterprise Investors (EI), has announced its acquisition of a 42.45% stake in Kofola-Hoop, one of the most significant producers of non-alcoholic beverages in Central and Eastern Europe. PEF VI acquired the stake in a public tender offer.
Enterprise Investors Announces a Public Tender Offer for Kofola-Hoop
Warsaw, 30.9.2008 - Polish Enterprise Fund VI (PEF VI), a private equity fund managed by Enterprise Investors (EI), acting jointly with several shareholders of Kofola-Hoop SA, has announced a public tender offer for all the remaining shares in the company. The goal is for the acquirers jointly to own 100% of the Kofola-Hoop shares traded on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The offer price of PLN 43.20 includes a 48% premium over the closing stock market price on 29 September 2008.

Warsaw, 21.7.2008 - Kofola SPV and Hoop S.A. companies has been merged and operates under the KofolaHoop company from 30 May. As the result of the merge, the company has become one of the most significant on the five markets of CEE countries. Hoop Polska Sp. z o.o. operates on Polish market.

Prague, 5.2.2008 - The Kofola Group reached the sales at the rate of CZK 4,553,418 for the sale of products and services in Central Europe last year, which is the increase by 15.3% compared to 2006. The sales in the Czech Republic grew by 32.2% and the turnover reached the amount of CZK 3,034,725. Investments of the Group exceeded CZK 670 million. In 2007 Kofola confirmed the role of a strong employer and increased the rate of employment by 10% in comparison with the year 2006 to 1,372 employees.
